Guest bloggers may only submit their own original work that has not been previously published on any other website, forum, chat, or social media network.
Guest bloggers may publish the first paragraph of their guest post on another website with a link to the original post. If you wish to publish your article in full elsewhere, we ask that you refrain from doing so for 3 months after it is published on The Cat’s Write.
The Cat’s Write is a writing-related blog, so please keep this in mind when submitting your guest post.
Guest posts should be between 500 – 1500 words.
Please include a short 1-3 sentence “Author Bio”, written in the third peson, with your submission.
When quoting others, please cite sources properly and with appropriate links.
Third party links must be relevant to the topic and approved by the editors of The Cat’s Write.
Please do not use the main article portion of your post to directly promote any products or services you are involved in providing.
Guest bloggers may include links to their website, blog, or social media accounts in the Author Bio.
The Cat’s Write has the right to refuse publication, to edit any submitted works, and to remove a guest post at any time.
The Cat’s Write will provide appropriate images for the post (although please do send through a photo of either yourself or your pet if you like).
The Cat’s write encourages guest bloggers to promote their guest post on their own website, Facebook, Twitter, or other social media accounts.
The Cat’s Write will share and promote guest posts on their social media platforms but does not gurantee any particular site or audience reach
