There comes a time when every writer needs to step back and see what a #writerslife looks like from the outside – and yes it looks like cats.
Be warned, these stages can come in any order, you can be in the middle of number 6 when suddenly inspiration strikes and you’re back at number 1. Number 2 might not actually exist and number 9 can strike at any time.
1.Coming up with a great idea
2.Writing down your plot points like a boss
3.Wondering if writers block is real or a construct of fluidic space
4. Where’s the coffee?
5.Soldering on through the valley of death, attacking one word at a time
6.That feeling when you finish your story
7.Realising your story is far from finished #editing
8.Reading rejection offer letter number 52 from your favourite publisher
9.Wondering why the hell you’re a writer

My cat threw up on one of my last plot outlines. I’ve sidelined that one. It obviously needs some work.
