What your editor goes through

So on not so good authority, this is totally what your editor (and beta-reader) goes through while editing your novel for the first time. Spare a somber thought for those who do it for free.

    1. Awesome! I’m glad I found your post earlier! Yes coffee can be tea too! I’m actually a bit of a tea fanatic. I prefer green teas after lunch and coffees in the morning, bit to heavy otherwise!

      1. I am a definite tea fanatic although I tend to stick with normal brews. I have the odd peppermint tea now and again but only drink coffee when I am reeeaaallly tired… Lol.

      1. Yeah, I let my wife edit some of my writing. There were times she had to stop, come get me, and ask “wtf?” LOL! But then I just had to enlighten her as to my awesomeness and everything was a-ok! 😉

    1. Yes indeed she will!! She still has no idea and I’m too chicken to tell her. Oh you have 3 cats!! How do you manage? My life is full of entertaining moments with just one of the little nuggets haha

  16. Very witty and like best comedy true. Looking back I’m glad I didn’t have anyone edit my trilogy it would have been on my conscience for the rest of my life (Oh the Humanity!)

  18. This is too funny! Yes, it is challenging work. Honestly though? So worth it. Helping someone to bring the potential of their story to full fruition is just plain awesome!
